Poems by Thomas Buchanan Read 1847 Signed First Edition Author's copy Poems by Thomas Buchanan Read. Christine ; The Bride of Dattenburg ; The Winnower etc... Published by William D. Ticknor & Company, Boston in 1847 - First Edition - Author's Copy. The author has inscribed and signed the front endpaper : dedicated to his wife 'Hattie' Harriet. The pages are in good condition and the binding is firm. However there is staining on the first few pages. The hinges are firm. The red leather cover with ornate gilt decoration and raised ribbed spine is mostly in good condition with a little scuffing, a bit of discoloration and light edgewear. 6 3/4" tall.
