The Poems of John Greenleaf Whittier Selected and Edited with a Commentary by Louis Untermeyer and Illustrated with Pencil drawings by R. J. Holden is published The Limited Editions Club New York 1945. Of this edition 1500 copies have been made this is copy number 1101 and is signed by the illustrator R. J. Holden. Contains 332 pages, frontispiece portrait illustration of John Greenleaf Whittier from the portrait by Wyatt Eaton 1878 ; as engraved by Timothy Cole, 31 illustrations in brown and white background. Bump to top and bottom corner of leather front and back board, light brown discoloration spot marks to interior of front and back board, rub marks to leather spine, interior pages good, light brown discoloration to side outer edge pages. slipcase has discoloration to front and back cover, split and wear to top and bottom edge of front cover, wear to edges and corners where book slips in. The dimension is 7 x 10 7/8.
