CURTIS BUNGALOW - POINT PLEASANT NJ pm 1909 - Oversize Point Pleasant - Stamp Intact - by American News - Germany Scene shows wood frame building with out building to the right and what looks to be a horse drawn carriage at far end of the house. Research indicates the David Curtis Homestead, in 1905, was '200 years old' and was constructued on what was known as Squan Beach a barrier island which, at one point, became Mantoloking Shores near Vagabond's Rest - but I'm not certain this is the very same Curtis and would be pleased to correct this listing if so advised. Of interest to vintage area view collectors as well as Jersey Shore ephemera enthusiasts. Point Pleasant is in Ocean County near Bay Head, Brielle and Manasquan New Jersey. Thank you for checking out this listing and please email if you have any questions. In very fine condition with minuscule corner bumps and absolutely NO creases, folds, etc. but please see scan to verify description.
