Poland Collection from Old Scott International 1840-1940 AlbumThis offering is from an old 1943 Scott International Volume I collection. This collection is unusual in that the early stamps are often stronger than the later stamps, and there many nice surprises. The album is from a 1940's printing and it is an old fashioned bound album. I took it apart very carefully and the pages are in good condition. In this edition of Scott International the last page of 1 country is often back to back with the 1st page of the next country. Generally I am not removing stamps from the pages so occasional there will be mixed lots, if I do remove a small country from it's page I will note it below. All stamps included in the auction are shown and be sure to see the pictures shown below the description not just those at the top of the page.Note; In most collections there are some stamps that are mounted in the wrong location, there are occasionally reprints or stamps with faults such as thins. I don't check the collections with a catalog, or check perforations or watermarks, nor do I check the backs of each stamp, but I do present excellent pictures. We usually send invoices the afternoon after the auctions end. We never charge more than stated in the auction, but if shipping is less than the amount paid, we refund all overages in excess of $1.00.
