This is a hand made copy of the Polish / Impeial Russian Order of the White Eagle ( part of the Virtuti Militari or military vertue, the highest award for military action family of orders). As Poland was part of the Imperial Russian empire at the time this one came out, now it is a Polish order. It is made of gold and silver bullion threads on black wool. It is 3.25 X 3.25 inches.
