Polar Cub Type G brass blade ac/dc fan. This fan was made sometime in the twenties when brass blades and steel cages were being built. The fan is untested due to the condition of cord (looks like the wires are twisted together where they enter the base). I believe the cord is original for it has the screw plug attached that is marked "The AC Gilbert Co. Polar Cub". The outer ring on the cage is loose from the struts, but being under the wires it can't go anywhere. The Tag on the motor is brass as are the brush covers and the blades. The blades are mounted on a steel hub. Overall in good condition other than the cord. I can (and prefer) to ship the fan with the blade and cage separate from the motor. As usual pickup by appointment is okay if the bidder is local.
