This one is ready to go! Up for sale is a newly converted and refreshed professional Polaroid 110A Pathfinder - utilizing the lens/shutter from a 110 version. This particular version has been re-covered with an extremely durable black leatherette. The cut end has been mended with an aluminum end cap and the same black leatherette to form a more cohesive appearance. You would think it was delivered this way, straight from the Polaroid factory! This model has the Polaroid CB-103 back that uses 3-1/4 X 4-1/4 format packfilms made by Polaroid and Fuji of the instant peel apart variety. First, there is the widely available Fuji FP 100C films with their amazing color , and the 3000B high speed black & white films. Occasionally, here on eBay, you can find the older Polaroid films 664, 665, 667, 669, 672, and 690. If you Google "Film Photography Project" and Also, if you look at the Impossible Project, they occasionally sell variations on the original Polaroid 100 films in blue, brown or sepia. The Wollensak 127mm Raptar lens is coated and mounted in the Rapax shutter. The combination produces fantastic results! The glass is absolutely mint in condition with no fogging, mildew or scratches anywhere on it. The shutter speed ranges from 1 second to 1/400 of a second, which is faster than the usual Prontor SVS shutter. The Rapax also features a Bulb (B) and Time (T) setting for exposures longer than 1 second. This is the only lens/shutter combination in the Pathfinder series of cameras to feature the T setting. A bi-post output exists for flash photography and will sync with all shutter speeds in the 'X' and 'M' settings. I will give you the link for a low-cost adapter cable to switch this to the most common PC sync from several reputable venders. Lens and shutter have been professionally CLA'd (cleaned, lubed, & adjusted). Any enthusiast or professional photographer is sure to love the tack-sharp pictures this lens is capable of producing. Instant photography is all the rage these days! This camera is perfect for studio proofing to set up lighting situations or ideal for traveling as well. Overall, the camera is in REFURBISHED & LIKE NEW condition. I have refinished the viewfinder with a very tough textured flat-black enamel coating to give a unique and fresh appearance. The bellows are supple, light-tight and in excellent condition. Rangefinder focus has been dialed in and reset to infinity as well to provide pinpoint focusing and the Polaroid back is fitted with serviceable rollers. This camera looks and performs amazingly well and it would be a great compliment to any collection, perfect for day to day use and even better for studio proofing, Polaroid transfers, or any instant film fine art project. You will not find a more unique and professional conversion camera anywhere. These cameras are hand built with the utmost attention to detail and there is a 120-day warranty for which I will repair or replace any defective equipment with equipment of equal value. Included is one pack of Fuji FP-100C film to get you started and the original manual for this camera on CD or PDF via email. Also included is the original Polaroid filter converter to utilize any and all original filters and close-up lenses produced for the Pathfinder series of cameras and a four-stop neutral density filter for using 3000iso high speed black and white films in daylight conditions.
