Unikat Polish Pottery: FINAL OFFER, I have no more of these after this auction. Thank you! All new, this is a wonderful piece as is evident by the photo! It is a medium size , 9" x 11 3/4", 2" deep, 1.5 quart capacity and is hand painted, signed, Unikat. It has a very nice butterfly pattern to it. Unikat bakers identical to this one sell for well over $60. This item has crazing, which simply means t are hairline 'cracks' within the glaze. This is due to a difference in material composition between the glaze and the pottery beneath combined with the temperature used for firing. It is completely lead free, safe for use in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, over time the crazing will show an antique appearance if you use it frequently in the oven as the lines will become more pronounced. Each piece varies in the amount of crazing, and may be unnoticeable to the untrained eye. To learn more, visit and look up crazing.
