This auction if for a polished Coconut half from Mexico As always, the items pictured are the items you will receive. is a nice example of a Mexican coconut. It has been lap polished to a fine finish. The thin bands of blue-gray agate surrounding the central, crystal core took on a high-gloss polish but the crystal itself came out to be sort of a matte finish. The tan/grey colored matrix at both the top and bottom is fairly soft and did not polish at all. The agate around the outer edge contains little red inclusions. The specimen, as pictured in the first image, has maximum dimensions of 4âe left to right, 3-3/8âe top to bottom is 2âe thick and weighs 1 lb 6.0 ounces. The second image shows somewhat of a side view. Due to the rounded nature of this item, it would require a prop or stand to display in the position shown.
