PORTMEIRION 3 DINNER PLATES + Cup&Saucer BOTANIC GARDEN Up for auction is this Collection of THREE Portmeirion PLATES and a CUP and SAUCER SET. You will receive the 10-1/2 inch Round Dinner Plates all with different Botanical Scenes: Paeonia Moutan (Shrubby Peony), Passiflora Caerulea (Blue Passion Flower) and Rhododendrum Liliiflorum (Lily Flowered Azalea). AS A BONUS you will also receive a Coffee Cup that displays Anagallis Arvensis (Pimpernel) with the matching saucer (the saucers do not display a Botanical scene) that has the leaf trim. ALL FIVE pieces are from the Botanic Gardens 1972 Collection! They are in EXCELLENT CONDITION! NO cracks, NO chips and NO repairs! The plates do have very minor, small scratches, but only seen when titled in the light. The scratches are very minimum in number. The bottom of EVERY piece is marked, "The Botanic Garden circa 1818, Portmeirion, Susan Williams Ellis, Made in England, Dishwasher Proof, Oven to Table, Freezer & Microwave." If you are a Portmeirion Collector or just starting your collection you can definitely appreciate the Botanical design work on these dishes and the extreme sturdiness of the material that was acquired for producing these pieces.
