COVERED DISH or CASSEROLE PORTMEIRION'S BOTANIC GARDEN SERIES WHITE CISTUS or SPANISH GUM CISTUS DESIGN INTRODUCED in 1972 and WITHDRAWN in 1985 This covered dish has a lovely white flower accented with a gold and maroon center. The orange and gold butterflies add to the bright, beautiful impression made by this piece. Portmeirion's famous green leaf vine encircles the floral motif on the cover. A wonderfully versatile size at 7 3/4" diameter and 3 1/2" depth. This beautiful piece, with one of Botanic Garden's original designs, has been gently used, but mostly displayed for its beauty! It does have some shelf wear on the bottom rim of the dish and a bit of wear on the inside rim of the cover. When in use, however, this is an absolutely perfect looking piece! T is no hint of crazing, cracking, silverware marking, or discoloration. T are no imperfections in this great dish. It's a testament to the durability and beauty of Portmeirion!
