Botanic Garden dinnerware got its beginnings when Portmeirion founder Susan Williams-Ellis stumbled across an antique flower encyclopedia from the 1800s. Unwilling to limit herself to reproducing just one image, Williams-Ellis decided to create a line of tableware with all the diversity of a botanic garden. Vivid and lovely, the resulting dishes are beautifully detailed and alive with fluttering butterflies. The pattern features 30 distinct flower varieties, with new plants introduced on a regular basis, so you can continue to refresh and expand your collection. Crafted from vitreous stoneware, the dishes are safe in the freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and oven. This set includes the following: -4 dinner glasses -4 dinner plates -4 salad bowls -3 small plates (one was broken) -4 heat resistant placemats ** The MSRP total for these items is $249.99. All are NEW IN THE BOX!!
