Portmeirion Pottery Botanic Garden RETIRED 6.5” oatmeal bowl Orchid motif - Stoke on Trent A Botanic Garden original Oatmeal Bowl featuring the Orchid motif. The Orchid is one of the original six oatmeal flowers, retired in 1978 (35 years ago), and also one of the four that did not have an assigned name. The dish has an excellent bright transfer and shiny glaze. As common on most Botanic Garden of this age (about 1972 to 1978), there is overall VERY clean with no chips, cracks or crazing – there are some small factory fleabites in the glazing.
