Postally used original real photo postcardSent in 1905. Showing the entrance gate to HMS Vernon decorated at the time of the visit of the french fleet to Portsmouth in 1905. Suit of armour, swords and shields all visible. Policemen on guard.A bit of edge and tip wear, and feint creases top left. In dcent overall condition See 4 scans below for front and back of card and 2 enlaeged sections. The "EBAY IMAGE" digital watermark does not appear on the actual postcard of course 04.13.019
