Portugal. Gold 6,400 Reis (Peca), 1824. Fr-128; KM-364. Joao VI. Laureate bust right. Reverse: Arms of the United Kingdom of Portugal and Brazil. Fully lustrous, well centered, sharp and desirable. NGC graded MS-62. . Issued under John V, the "golden Joe" was issued at both the Rio Mint and the Bahia Mint and enjoyed legal status in America and was widely used as a trade coin on both continents.
