POSSIBLE DREAMS CLOTHTIQUE "Department Store Santa " USA, Circa 1940 3 Piece Set It em # 721001 Signature Series Issued 1995 - Retired 1999 New In Box, Hang Tag and Charms and Certificate of Authenticity This new display was created by Paul Chang and Warren Stanley. It is numbered 1520 of the 9500 issued worldwide. Dear old Santa is sitting in a very high back chair frequently seen in department stores during the 1940's. Santa is dressed in his traditional red two-piece suit, bell shaped hat black boots and black wide belt, with gold buckle, wrapped around his waist. His suit and hat are trimmed in white fur. His gold wire rimmed glasses are sitting on the tip of his nose and he is holding a toy soldier in his hand. Santa's chair has a dark green velvet pillowy soft cushioned back, seat and arm rests. His foot is resting on a little foot stool which also has the dark green velvet cover. It has a white base and four small red ball style legs. The chair itself is basically white with red and white candy striped trim on the two back legs and along the back which forms a heart at the opening. Tied to the heart is a red satin bow with two gold bells attached to it (real clappers in the bells). Across the top is also a gold string with smaller gold bells.
