An unusual pair of daguerreotypes in a twin case of the same deceased child.The child has been arranged to show profile and full-face views.Pictures measure 3 inches x 2 1/2.I have made no attempt to clean the pictures or the glass.The case appears to be in good condition but t is some wear on the inside of the hinge.This was bought in a Massachusetts flea market some 30 years ago and I have no other information.Pictures show the inner and outer views of the cases, plus, I've enlarged a section of each picture to show better detail of the child.Lots about post-mortem daguerreotypes : http://users.telenet.be/thomasweynants/post-mortem.html Postage charges: These vary from country to country and are determined by the weight of the packed item.
