This is a Hard-To-Find CIRCA 1898 Post office box door front made by the Eagle Lock Company. The door front is made of cast bronze. The door measures 6 1/8" by 10 3/4" with Four Mounting Tabs on the rear. The door is in working order with a working lock and a working key. The lock has stamped on it PAT.JULY 26.'98. The door is listed on page 112 of The Illustrated Guidebook of Post Office Doors.
