Before the advent of the scientific calculator the slide rule is what engineers and architects used to design and build everything from skyscrapers to bridges.According to the date code on the end (the letters CF) indicate this was made in June of 1952.This one is made of bamboo. It's in working order. There is a patina on the metal end pieces that can be seen in the photos as well as the faint scratching of someones initials (J.T.) next to the Post logo. The case is made to look like leather but I don't think it is.Shipping is free.No returns. Please be certain you want this item when you buy. Inspect the photos carefully as they are detailed enough to show the condition of the item.
