A post war A5 Norris of London Plane. I was given this plane when I was an apprentice joiner in the early 70s by a joiner who was retiring . Not sure how long he had owned it but after researching on line I think its a postwar Norris. I used the plane for about ten years before retiring it as the plan e iron as you may have noticed in the photos was getting short and at the time I was unable to find a replacement. Over all it is in good condition with all it original parts and still in working order. For better or worse I did strip and re polish the wooden parts of the plane a bout a year ago.
