POSTCARD SEAPLANE CARRIER ‘BEN MY CHREE’ 1908 On offer is a postcard of the ‘HM Seaplane Carrier ‘Ben My Chree 1908’ published by the Nautical Photo Agency. According to Wikipedia Ben My Chree was built by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company in 1907 and had an illustrious career before being lost off Turkey in 1917. It is not postally used. The front has a touch of wear and there is a pencil note on the back saying ‘plane in hangar numbered 842’ and a price - £5.00!
