POSTWAR LIONEL 2349 NORTHERN PACIFIC GP9 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVELOT DESCRIPTION: As the title says this lot consists of a POSTWAR LIONEL 2349 NORTHERN PACIFIC GP9 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE. Made in the 1959-60 time period it comes with magna-traction, interior lights, automatic couplers on each end and a diesel horn. It is all original Post War Lionel.DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION: Loco is in great shape. The plastic shell is fine, no cracks, breaks or chips. NO screw hole cracks! The colors, lettering and numbers are all bright and clear. The frame and battery compartment are great, no battery damage there at all. Trucks and rollers in great shape. No serious issues here at all. Again, loco is in great shape and IMHO I would rate it as in C-7, excellent condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge.WORKING CONDITION: I have cleaned, lubed and tested the loco and it runs and reverses perfectly. E-unit cycles just fine.
