Postwar Lionel 6651 U.S.M.C. Cannon Flatcar UNRUN. A few rubs on either end of flatcar so I will say C8+ but its totally unrun. This didn't come with a box. Circa 1965. Lionel made this car on the scale of a 16 inch Battleship gun. No matter, because kids who were fortunate to receive this car in uncataloged sets got lots of play out of it. It came with a wooden projectile that was 1-7/8" long and 5/16" in diameter and was painted SILVER . The car came with only one shell, but additional shells were available under No. 6651-8 (4 each). TThe pictures are good so you can clearly see what your bidding on. I am listing some choice lionel pieces this weekend with good photos. So remember with close-ups.. you get dust showing up and light reflection that can be taken as paint discoloration. I will combine winning lots for a bulk rate shipping/insurance, just let me know you plan to bid/win more items and wait for a invoice sent by me before you pay. Paypal is preferred but other methods are out there. Insurance is included in shipping.
