R are Potent 1890's Spell Candle Holder French Witch Collection !! This stunning candleholder was part of a collection of artifacts and occult tools that were amassed by many generations of a family of French Celtic Druidic witches. Please see below item description for further details. As many of you are aware , these are sadly trying times for my partner and myself, with several of our family members falling ill at the same point , much journeying for us both across the body of water that separates us from them .In the light of that fact and cost of some of the treatments that will be performed , we have decided to take up an offer for the rest of collection that we received from a French Order of Celtic Druidic Witches based in the center of France We have also decided that we are at least for the moment going to be keeping some pieces for sentimental reasons . Muriel was an incredibly special lady that touched the heart of all that met her ,Ellie and I will be forever grateful for all of the knowledge , friendship , warmth and understanding that she gave to us . We would like to say through the course of the sale of the collection on ebay we have had the privilege of talking to and getting to know so many wonderful people who have touched our hearts in so many ways and our sincerest thanks go out to all of you , we are sure that Muriel would be absolutely delighted that her and her family’s legacy is living on across the world . We will be listing some items from our own personal collection as we still are in the process of sorting out our house renovation move and eventual emigration and the house is a little full still to say the very least J Once again our deepest gratitude to you all . The piece first came into the family's possession in the mid 189o's after it crafted by Sebastian ( Muriel's Grandfather ) from root sections of one of the oldest and largest vines in the family's own personal grove . The artifact was then empowered in a lengthy series of workings in which all members of the family participated . The candle holder was also a central ingredient in just about every ceremony, working and rite that the family performed both for themselves and their clients it was also a highly important element in many of the largest joint collaborative workings that the family performed with fellow orders .In the local area it had a potent reputation of being able to change fortunes for the better , banish all forms of negativity , rebalance from any person , animal , plant , dwelling and area of land and bring great insight , knowledge , healing and all the blessings that can be bestowed upon us all The holder was originally crafted from two stunning grained and flowing sections of hand cut and smoothed vine root with four " Branches" allowing the afixing of traditional formed handmade silver colored metal holding points it was then handmade screw affixed to a beautiful tri legged base / support . The front " leg of the base was then handcarved with a representation of a pentagram or pentacles , together with an early athame / dagger shaped empowerment symbol / sigil . The body was then carved with representations of arrows flowing up it's mid section to the branches which were then carved with further representations of arrows , a cross hatch designed early empowerment sigil a representation of the head of antler headressed figure a wheel of life , a ritual sickle , spiral of life leading to an early crowning combined goddess symbol . The symbolism to the piece is fascinating from the very choice of material that it was crafted from to the choice of decoration that adorns it . The vine and it’s fruit’s have for centuries held huge significance to Central France both on the material and metaphysical level with it being one of the foremost bringers of employment, wealth and security .
