But his discovery was of interest to more people than he knew: The Z^Nrx, an alien race, hoped to steal the secrets from him to power their own galactic warships. However, another alien, a Kymellian named Aelfyre Whitemane, had also landed on Earth, hoping to warn Dr. Powers.Upon his landing, the Kymellian did battle with the Z^Nrx intruders, but was hopelessly outnumbered. In desperation, he divided his own powers and bestowed them on Dr. Powers’ four children. With their newfound abilities, they helped beat back the alien attack.
