This is a superb pair of 19thc porcelainous Samson woolly sheep figurines afore a flowering tree and portrayed in laying pose. The sheep are beautifully modelled with pretty faces and thick applied chipping to coats. Gilt detail around base. Gilt Samson anchor mark to base. Figures are in overall excellent age commensurate condition with a very small, minor chip to tip of a leaf - one on each piece. The sheep are in excellent condition. Measures some 3" height and some 3.5" long at base. A superb pair of 19th century porcelain Samson sheep figurines which is very collectable .
