DESCRIPTION A Pair of American Pottery Urns of Vases that amy also be referred to as Cache Pots. Graceful Form flareds at Rim and stands on footed Base. Exterior is matte glaze in white, interior is highly glazed turquoise of aqua . . . just beautiful. Moulded Pattern is # 6478 and features rows of beads, 3 concentric rings on body and another on foot. Unusual to find a pair in stellar condition. IDENTIFICATION Impressed Marks : on bottom of each, ROOKWOOD Hallmark featuring initials for Rookwood Pottery surrounded by Flamesa. Below is XXXIV designating 1934 as year of production. Below is numeral 6478 for pattern or form Made in Zanesville, Ohio DIMENSIONS Height: 6 1/4" Bottom Diameter: 3 1/8" Top Diameter: nearly 6 3/8" CONDITION EXCELLENT. Interiors without scratches and NO lime marks from water. Exteriors with some light rubbing marks that are probably removable . . . no scratches. NO Cracks or Chips. No Restoration. No Glaze Damage.
