This auction is one bid and NO RESERVE for a pair of antique Mardi Gras items, black glass vases with silver overlay that were party favors from the Rex Crewe Ball of 1917. Old estate pieces from a very good Dallas estate. SIZE: About 5.5" wide across the top and about 6" tall. AGE: Old estate pieces from a very old Dallas estate. Authentic and old per the family and obviously authentic as the pics show. Guaranteed authentic and old and NOT reproductions. Your money [less shipping] instantly refunded with no questions asked if you buy them and don't agree that they are authentic after you see them in person [but they are authentic, as the pics show, and you aren't going to want to give them back]. CONDITION: The silver overlay on both vases is tarnished and I didn't attempt to polish it as I didn't want to risk rubbing it off [it's rather thin]. Also, a small amount of silver loss on each vase, but they both retain at least 98% - 99% of their silver overall. Also, a very small chip to the underside of one vase [pic #9], but it is only visible when the vase is examined from the underside. Otherwise, nothing to complain about on my honest inspection.
