Thanks for stopping by. This auction is for a vintage pair of sconces. I don't know if they were converted or were always electric. My guess would be converted. I'm not real sure of the style or period they are from, but they are beautiful. They are made of bronze and brass, and could use a through cleaning. Loads of detail from top to bottom. I tried to show it in the photos. They are 16 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches wide on the wall plate, and 12 inches at the widest point of the candle holders. Other than needing a through cleaning it looks like some kind of repair was done on the bottom area of the top braided or woven ares in center of top of sconce. See picture #7. Beautiful, Beautiful.
