You Are Bidding On A Brand New FUNCTIONAL HAND MADE ODA NOBUNAGA SAMURAI KATANA SWORD Plus Free Stand And Sword Case. Made by Musashi Musha. This sword is dedicated to Oda Nobunaga (June 23, 1534 to June 21, 1582), a major daimyo during the Sengoku period of Japanese history. A skillful warrior and general, he was the first one who tried to unify Japan and bring it "under a single sword." You can read more about Oda Nobunaga here Musashi Forge makes these swords in limited quantities. The blade is traditionally hand forged (6-stage process) and heat tempered 1045 carbon steel. The sword can be disassembled for cleaning. Features: Overall length with scabbard: 41" Blade length: 28 1/2" Handle length: 11 1/4" Sword Handle: Solid wood wrapped with heavy gauge cotton cord Blade material: Heat tempered 1045 high carbon steel with visible hamon Hardness: HRC 50 on edge, HRC 40 on back.
