Prattware 8 1/4" plate with multicolor transfers of Sebastopol in the Crimea. The transfer is bordered by an area of mottled purple and then several transfer borders to the outer rim. The scene shows a cart being pulled by camels, and many sailing ships in the harbor. A most interesting piece of Pratt transferware C.1850. Unmarked. Very good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some discoloration and crazing to the back of the plate only.
