Nice 22mm example with a dotted 5 point patriotic star design. The back mark is a totally unlisted variant " Smith & Hopkins Extra " which I cannot find in my books. I have excavated an example of this from a Civil War campsite years ago and I have seen a few others dug as well. Please view my present and upcoming Civil War Union & Confederate, militia, Indian War, police, fire department, railroad RR, fraternal, veteran society, cadet, governmental agency and other historic uniform type buttons and WW1 collar disc. Happy bidding!
