Pre-historic Grey Quartzite PROJECTILE POINT, Andrew, Alberta (K-Site) #4738 Description Pre-historic Grey Quartzite PROJECTILE POINT, Andrew, Alberta (K-Site) #4738 - Very Pointy Tip Item: #4738. Grey quartzite projectile point, from K-locality/site, surface find. Gorgeous shape.Dimensions: 60.14 mm long x 25.56 mm across x 10.37 mm thick.Location: The locality is in the Andrew, Alberta area on Katie Lopushinski's farm/land (NE Qtr, S-34, R20, Twp 57, West of 4). This was found by Mr. N. Kochuk sometime between 1952-59. My dad collected this from Mr. Kochuk in 1975. My dad identified the site/locality and found a number of artifacts himself at this site. Please see the pictures for more detail or information.The scale shown in the picture is in cm/mm.This is from my dad's personal collection of pre-historic artifacts.My dad was a long-time (50 years) collector of native and fur trade items. He was a historian / archaeologist. All of these items are from his collection. Our items have been featured on the Canadian Antiques Roadshow and the prestigious auction house, Bonhams and Butterfields in San Francisco sold some of our native items.
