Pre-historic PROJECTILE POINT Quartzite, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta (A Site) Description Pre-historic PROJECTILE POINT Dark Red Quartzite, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta (A Site) - Lot 5808 For your consideration is a beautiful shaped projectile point in a red quartzite, which was a surface find. This was found/collected by my dad in August, 1969. The site name is Albert (A) and the Borden number is FjPh-402-A-XXX. This was in the area close to Fort Saskatchewan on the west side of highway 21 on the way to Fort Saskatchewan. As a child, I went with my dad to this locality many, many times and found a few pieces myself. Also known as the Van Hecke site (it was Mr. Van Hecke's property). A-Site - dark red Quartzite Projectile Point. Dimensions: 25.55 x 21.20 mm. From my dad's collection of pre-historic artifacts.
