Up for bids is an American Flyer pre war steam engine. The bottom of the rear engine truck says #4695; tender says it's a # 4693. Plate under the engine reads: American Flyer Manufacturing Co. Chicago, Illinois. Engine runs forward and reverse. Lights work. This engine is very nice; it has the piping. Drive wheels appear to be original; the wheels on the lead and trailing trucks are marked McCoy. This has the bell. BELL works! The shifting levers are different on this model. Look at the pictures. Tender is straight and true. I've taken lots of pictures for you to look at. This engine is from my collection. The reserve is much lower than what I paid for it. Check out my other items ! as I am selling all my Flyer Standard gauge. Free shipping to US (lower 48 states) only. This item will ship by itself. AND NOW THE SMALL PRINT: I do accept returns within 30 days after the sale if you believe that I have misrepresented this item. Unhappy buyer pays return insured shipping. Refund would then be made through Pay Pal. The green stripe on the engine is NOT painted on - it must be an after market "add on." Wanted you to know. Len posted 12-30-2011
