Pre WW1 US Navy Boatswain's Mate 1st Class RatingYou are bidding on a vintage pre WW1 era US Navy enlisted rating of red stripes with blue eagle and specialty mark for boatswain's mate 1st class. This was worn on white clothing before the Uniform Regulations of 1913, which changed the stripes to blue. Authorized to be issued until supplies were exhausted. Removed from uniform. Shows discoloration on white duck and two moth nips on red stripes. P lease view all pictures and ask any questions.
