Working high quality tube tester. Straight forward measurements. Tests vintage Radio and TV tubes for SHORTS, EMISSIONS, and GAS. Manufactured in the 50's by Precision Apparatus Co. Elmhurst NY. I have used this tube tester and am very happy with the results. Directions for testing within this set are for radio tubes from the 30's, 40's and 50's. You will need to acquire a tube manual for the settings to check earlier tubes. I am selling this equipment because I do not need an additional tube tester. Note: I have provided a picture of me testing a 12SQ7 radio tube to demonstrate the tester working. Has the capability to test tubes from old battery and AC sets such as balloon tubes O1A, 271, 226, 227, 230, 245, 280 to name a few, as well as newer shouldered, tubular, peanut and also military and foreign tubes. The set measures 13" wide X 14" deep X 5" high. Note: Wood case is missing its handle. The wood is in good overall condition, however, is missing some maple wood veneer on the front (see pictures).
