Prehistoric Anasazi Bowl sections A.D. 1275-1325. Nice section of a prehistoric Anasazi bowl. This is a Pinedale Polychrome bowl section. The largest glued up bowl section measures 10 ½ inches across. The exterior is painted with black outlined in white. The interior has great lightning bolts in the negative and the pigments are vitreous like the later Zuni glazewares, this bowl was probably produced very late in the Pinedale phase. T is no paint touch-up, all is original. Some of the matching sections have been glued with an acetone based bonding agent, easy to reverse and restore. I can not tell how much of the bowl is present, please use the photos to make your own decision. This bowl was made prehistorically with the coil and scrape technique. Remember, you have a full money back guarantee, if t is anything you don't like about the piece, just return it, no problem, no questions, no hassles.
