Beautiful red/brown chert Prehistoric Native American Portable Rock Art Stone Tool Artifact. Stone measures approximately 1 1/2" long and 1" wide. Stone has markings on front of stone. Possibly used as a sharpening stone. Found this artifact along an old gravel/dirt road here in Abita Springs, Louisiana. Abita was home to the Choctaw Indians and the tchefuncte tribe. Northern Louisiana was also home to the famous poverty point mounds. I'm no professional just enjoy the hunting, history and sharing of my finds. Condition is Used.
