Premier Snare Drum Fantastic sounding snare drum, was my main snare for many years. These things, of course, are subjective and it all depends on the skins used and tuning, but if you want something that has a massive crack and plenty of presence, this is it. The rim is quite deep, so for shots and such like you get plenty of clarity and attack. It is quite old and cosmetically seen better days, but if you want a big sound, this is it! It may also be a suitable for a restoration project. I'd love to keep it, but I need the space and don't really play enough these days to warrant keeping it around. Will come in a "Rockbag", which is not padded but suitable for keeping clear in the house or between gigs with a little care. Current head is an Evans EC2, which is in good condition.
