T his is a very rare Prentiss "Empire" 60 day calendar wall clock. This is a clock from my personal collection that I had planned to have restored. I did not get around to it and I just have too many other clocks that need restoration. The clock runs and the calendar advances. It should be cleaned and will have to be adjusted but I don't think anything is missing or broken; look closely just in case. The clock has a paper dial with a tin/zinc backplate (not sure if that's the way they came or not) and it looks like the day roller has replacement paper. There is only one date card and I think there should be 15 or so.....They don't look hard to reproduce. The case is very nice and I think the glass is original. I don't see anything missing or repaired (actually I don't even see a scratch on it). The case is stamped "property of Prentiss etc." (see picture) and the interior is stamped with a serial number or two. This is a clock that was decommissioned from the NAWCC museum. All in all a really good clock. If you like calendar clocks this one will be at the top of your collection!I would prefer a local pickup but would be glad to ship. If it must be shipped than the deal will have to be "as is" with no returns. Please plan to have a professional adjust it. It is possible that slight adjustments or repairs would be necessary after shipment.
