Custom made Presentation style Pipe Tomahawk. Hand crafted by D.K.Lisle (Birddog6) and has the Birddog6 Trademark stamped into the head. This head is very unusual, as it is cast German Silver, custom shaped & polished. The haft is also unusual as it is fiddleback Curly Red Oak & the only one like it I have ever had. It has a German Silver cap with a removable deer antler tine plug, 4 German Silver inlays with G.Silver brads retaining it & a G.Silver band inlaid in around the haft. The top of the haft is wrapped with distressed leather & the handmade cones on the thongs are Brass, German Silver, & Copper, and hand made bone beads. Should you want this hawk to look old & aged, I can easily clean the shine off for you & the head will acquire a natural patina as any other silver would. Then as you handle it the high spots will stay silver & the lower recessed areas will darken & give it the old aged look. This pipe/hawk is usable & will smoke, however because of the health hazards from smoking tobacco, I do not advise anyone smoking anything in it. If you are a collector or a re-inactor, this is a a very unusual hawk, a limited production and is #2 of 6 that I will make in 2007.
