Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) Fine Autograph note signed, 3.0 x 1.5 inch, penned on his personal calling card printed "Mr. Theodore Roosevelt", fine condition, dark writing. In full: "Many thanks for your very kind note. If you will get from the library my book 'Fear God and Take Your Own Part", you will find the whole matter in the chapter on the 'Panama Blackmail Treaty'. T. Roosevelt". The note is written on his rare personal calling card. The impressive Gerald Burg Visiting and Calling Card Collection, sold years ago, had only a card of Theodore Roosevelt as Vice President and the book about the F.C. Schang collection did not show any Teddy Roosevelt calling card. A rare example! I started collecting autographs of famous personalities as a teenager in 1985. During the last ten years I’m specialized in the autographs of History and Presidents of the United States. My large reference library includes all the standard works with more than 100 books on the subject. I’m a member of all major autograph organizations and the author of several published articles and reference books incl. the standard works: “John F.
