Commemorative Preston Guild For sale is a small collection of interesting items all related to the Preston Guild. The items are as follows: 1) 1902 Cup & Saucer duo with lithophane image of King Edward VII in the base of the cup. The cupfeatures a little enamelling on the crown and the saucer is plain. Both in good order, some wear to the decoration/gilding. 2) 1922 water jug with a pink ground, Central image of the town hall surrounded by the crest of Preston and a town crier. Generally very good, minor wear commensurate with age. 3) 1922 Ceramic beaker with similar images to the water jug but in blue on a white ground. Very good condition for age with only minor wear. 4) 1902 Wavy edged saucer decorated with the crest of Preston. Produced for C & W Shufflebottom. Good condition but rim gilding is well worn. 5) Cup, saucer & sideplate from 1922. Most likely not a match but they sit well together and are generally good with some wear. The cup has a nice image of the Mayor & his wife but has a fleabite in the gilding on the rim. Please see the pictures to assess further (white marks are caused by the flash).
