Rare Prewar Lionel #184 Tin Lithograph Bungalow-Usew/Marx, MTH, K-line. L-1 Description of Item(s) Up for your consideration is a very rare, vintage, unique and beautiful Lionel # 184 illuminated tin lithographed bungalow from the 1920’s. The base of the house measures approximately 5” long , 2 ¾” wide and 4” tall to the top of the chimney. The bungalow is still clean with absolutely no rust or oxidation anywhere on the item. The litho has held up extremely well and shows only minor play wear and scratches. I would grade the item in excellent condition at about a C-6 to C-7. The original wiring is not present and will need some soldering TLC to reattach the wiring. The house comes with its original light socket and what appears to be its original bulb. The artwork is nicely done and the house can be used, in my opinion, with Marx, MTH, American Flyer and K-Line compatibility. There is some mild age yellowing and crackling to the finish in some spots and on the INSIDE and bottom most likely from the heat of the bulb but not at all serious for an item that is nearly 90 years old.
