Hello and welcome to my auction, I am so glad you are ! I would like to offer a sincere and heartfelt thank you to all my wonderful customers who have either bought or shown an interest in my work. You are all just so amazing! It is my greatest pleasure to make things for you to enjoy. Today I have listed for your consideration a gorgeous prim wreath featuring an early look olde fabric pineapple, the symbol of hospitality! (BE SURE TO SEE ALL THE CLOSEUP )! I created this with lots of care and details using a twig wreath for the base, preserved basil cedar, princess pine, german statice, dried sunflowers, bittersweet pepperberries, copper and burgundy hydrangea, clusters of burgundy berries, creamy white berry flowers, pumpkin pip berries, a mixed bow of green/cream check and grunged cheeesecloth, and swirls of fall grasses. The pineapple was cut from aged quilt fabric, color washed, baked and sanded and shaded, the top greens were cut from osnaburg and painted. I filled the middle with angel vine and added a cinnamon stick for the stem. I finished with a grunged hang tag that says "Hospitality 1883" with a black dash border and stars. Perfect for your country or prim home treasures. The wreath measures approximately 15" in diameter.
