Americana lady 19 in. doll This listing is for the finished doll itself. Thank you very much for stopping by to see this primitive Americana lady holding a flag banner. She is designed to hang from a thread on her back. This Americana Lady doll is 19 in. tall counting her crown and is 8 in. wide. This is an original by Dumplinragamuffin and is signed and dated on tag. This doll is made with aged muslin fabric. She has a needle sculpted nose and her eyes and mouth are painted with artist pencils and sealed for protection. Her beautiful wool hair is needle felted to her head. Her pretty glittered crown is stitched to her head. She wears a long dress made with navy blue fabric. The bodice is made with a lighter shade of navy blue and has long sleeves gathered around her arms. The dress is embellished with glittered stars in flag colors. She wears pantaloons and painted on slippers. She holds a long banner attached to a painted wooden dowel; The banner has beautiful flag colors and is wired to hold it's shape as it is wrapped around her. several bells are stitched to the end of the flag banner. I have included a copy of a vintage post card with a verse on the back. This is a great set to display throughout the Summer or all year long.
