Up for auction is an antique round top Gesso shaving mirror. It needs repair, or display it as is as a nice primitive. The Mirror measures about 14" high x 12" wide. It has a gesso design over wood, about 5" of the smooth side is chipped out but it could be plastered and painted.There are corners that have smaller chips of gesso on the edges. The frame would need repainted too. The mercury on the mirror is very worn, but the frame is sturdy, and the glass is not broken. It has a sawn wood back. This is an 1800s mirror for accent or shaving. It is in fair condition but needs restoration, please see the pictures. Thanks for looking!
