This Bee door hanger is 13 1/2" long ( not counting the anteneas) and 14 1/2" wide at the wings. It is made of calico that has been painted for the black strips on the body and face, it has vintage chenille for the wings, the face has been hand stitched for the nose, eyebrows, and mouth the rest has been painted. The anteneas are rusty wire with rusty bells on the ends. The wings are stitched around the edge and the star on the body is hand stitched also. The bee wears a bow of calico with a different calico for the star and around the anteneas. The bee also has a hang tag attached by a rusty safety pin that reads "SPRING TYME" and has a hanger on its back to be hung w ever you wish. This is adapted from Patti's Ratti's wonderful design.
