Overall Size: 13âe long x 12âe deep x 18âe high About this Design: I make hundreds of different birdhouses and the Salt Box Birdhouse is the only one I sell on eBay. This Salt Box Birdhouse sells for $70.00 retail through upscale stores and on my website. This is a functional birdhouse and has three compartments. The hole size is 1-1/8âe and located on each side under the gables. The bottom is screwed on and is meant to be easily removed for cleaning. Wrens, Finches and Chickadees are common birds to use this house. I usually spend many days and weeks on a design until it has just the right amount of color, character and style. Every detail and proportion is important for a great design. Too many pieces can make a design over done and too little can make it lack style.
